Manchester City striker Erling Haaland warns Manchester United with four words ahead of derby on Sunday

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is back in goal and ready for Sunday's derby against Manchester United.

Manchester City striker Erling Haaland is gearing up for this weekend's derby against Manchester United.

After his performance in the FA Cup on Tuesday night, it's no wonder the striker is looking forward to this weekend's big game. Remarkably, Haaland scored five goals as City beat Luton Town 6-2, setting up a meeting with Newcastle United in the quarter-finals a few weeks later.

And then there's United, which holds a special place in the Norwegian's heart. In his first Manchester derby, Haaland scored a hat-trick as the Blues won 6-3 in a game that was much more comfortable for City than the scoreline indicated.

After losing the second leg at Old Trafford last season, Haaland returned to the goalscoring tally in his final game against the Reds. He scored twice and City won 3-0.

And on Friday, as the Blues completed their final preparations for one of their biggest games of the season, Haaland shared a message on Instagram. The Norwegian wrote in the caption: “The Manchester derby is coming! »

In October, United fans attacked Haaland with chants of "Keano", a reference to Roy Keane, with whom the striker's father Alfinge Haaland had a long-standing rivalry. After the match, the 23-year-old was happy to have his final words. "It's unbelievable. It was a great win, a great game and the team, everyone, especially this guy (Bernardo Silva) was great," he told Sky Sports. "(The third goal) was easy because I could see Phil by himself. (After the penalty) People were singing 'Kiano' to me. I don't know why, but it is what it is. It was a good party and a good match.
