The Super Eagles of Nigeria qualified for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) finals in Cote d'Ivoire on Wednesday night.

Nigeria's senior football team beat South Africa's Bafana Bafana 4-2 on penalties after a 1-1 draw in regulation time. Nigeria now await the winner of the second semi-final between hosts Ivory Coast and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
