 Victor Osimhen's goal against Barcelona was nominated for the UEFA Champions League Goal of the Week award in the round of 16.

UEFA announced Osimhen and three other Champions League candidates on Thursday night. The other three players on the shortlist are Barcelona's Robert Lewandowski, Porto's Galeno and PSV star Donyell Malen.

The Super Eagles striker marked his return from AFCON 2023 by scoring the equalizer for Napoli after Lewandowski put Barcelona ahead. It was the 25-year-old's second goal in five Champions League games this season, after winning the Serie A title.

The winner of the Goal of the Week Award will be determined by fan voting.
